Norman Decent was brought up and educated at Edgware, Middlesex. His family always came to Bournemouth for holidays and this place has remained at the very heart of Norman’s life.
Upon moving to Bournemouth permanently, Norman ran his own Property Business working in Boscombe East and has kept himself busy for a period of 23 years. More recently, Norman has become really involved in voluntary work from Bournemouth in Bloom to Neighbourhood Watch and working in the local Inspiring Change shop.
Norman is always keen to be engaged with all aspects of community life and was delighted to be elected a councillor in 2015. He works closely with Roger Marley, also relected in 2015, and is part of a Conservative team that focuses its efforts on improving the area.
From the simple things like painting lamp posts and filling pot holes to more complex case work, Norman has been on hand to help local people. He is never afraid to join in, and wants to assist all residents as well as he can. Norman plays a active role in the Job Club in West Howe,helping local residents back to work. Norman is a strong voice for Kinson South in the Town Hall.
