Sixty-Six Club

The Sixty-Six Club was established in 1966 to support the local MP, at the time Sir John Eden, and provides a forum for business people interested in political and business matters who have a connection with the Bournemouth West constituency. The Club provides an opportunity for regular two-way contact with the Member of Parliament, Conor Burns.

During the year there are three member only dinners with an opportunity to discuss, in a frank and open fashion, a variety of topics with Conor. In addition, there are two dinners in Bournemouth, each with a guest speaker, normally a front bench politician or other senior member of the Conservative Party. On these occasions, there is also an opportunity to invite guests and ask questions.
